Customized Care
We take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic care to each and every patient. At Glow we use the most safe, gentle, and comfortable of chiropractic techniques to achieve our results. For over two decades now, we have been sought out for our gentle and non-invasive ways of making spinal corrections resulting in relief and better health. We have included information below about the different chiropractic techniques we use most often in our office.
If you have experienced a specific technique that you enjoy and has been helpful, please make us aware so that we can recommend the best practitioner for you and get you the care that you deserve.
Activator Method
Learn More
This is a gentle, low-force approach to chiropractic care. Used safely on patients of all ages since the late 1960’s, it brings relief for a variety of health concerns.
The doctor uses specific protocols to detect spinal joint dysfunction, analyze leg length inequality, identify issues with body mechanics and test neurological reflexes. By evaluating the results, an Activator doctor can initiate the process of restoring spinal balance in the patient.
The Activator provided a controlled, fast thrust that is comfortable for the patient. In fact, adjustments with the Activator are so quick and measured, the body’s muscles are less likely to resist, allowing for a more precise and accurate adjustment.
Torque Release
Learn More
The Torque Release Technique targets the underlying causes restoring you to a health and state of mind free of interference.
The Torque Adjustor™ is unlike other handheld instruments. The Integrator reproduces the entire thrust and movement components of toggle recoil (the classic Chiropractic Method of adjusting by hand) at a speed of 1/10,000th of a second. No other instrument in chiropractic history has been able to reproduce what the hands were intended to do!
The Integrator™ is an instrument developed from the largest human population research study in chiropractic history! The Integrator™ is a legally marketed medical device for the adjustment of the Vertebral Subluxation; only available to licensed Doctors of Chiropractic.
Neuromechanical Technique (Impulse)
Learn More
The Impulse Adjusting Instrument is a gentle, low-force program of chiropractic care. Chiropractic adjusting with the Impulse Adjusting Instrument aims to restore your body’s balance and function to correct the underlying symptoms. Chiropractic adjustments with the Impulse Adjusting Instruments feel like a light tapping sensation on the area that is being treated.
In most cases the treatment is painless and after the adjustment many patients feel relief of pain and improved mobility. Others report a sense of well-being or a soothing calm feeling.
Take a look at these benefits!
- Extreme Speed. Impulse is twice as fast as other adjusting instruments and 100x faster than manual chiropractic adjustments. The gentle thrust is faster than the body’s tendency to tighten up and resist the adjustment
- Controlled Force. Impulse has three different force settings for different parts of the body to treat patients of all ages. The controlled low force thrust of Impulse make treatments comfortable.
- Frequency Tuned Waveform. Impulse is specifically tuned to the natural frequency of the body that joints, muscles and nerves respond to, optimizing results for patients.
MC2 is an analysis system that identifies critical points along the spine that are disturbing the function of your nervous system and causing your health problems. This analysis is gentle, safe, specific and very effective. We have had tremendous success in resolving difficult cases.
Diversified
Learn More
One of the techniques that we use out the practice is the most commonly used adjustment technique by chiropractors as it is characterized by a high velocity low amplitude thrust.
It is the common manual technique you may have seen, with the doctor applying the force with their hands. Diversified is considered the most generic chiropractic manipulative technique and is differentiated from other techniques in that its objective is to restore proper movement and alignment of spine and joint dysfunction.
This form of spinal manipulation consists of a short, fast force applied to the specific joints to instill motion, stretch surrounding muscles, and stimulate the nervous system.
